From 2012-2013, Breanne co-hosted Brown on Black,  a national radio and internet show that brought awareness to the issues that continue to plague the African American community.

In 2017, Breanne became a licensed mental health counselor with the state of Iowa.

In 2019, Breanne provided her personal and professional expertise on how to deliver mental health services to persons who have experienced race-based trauma.

Breanne was featured in a 2015 documentary released on YouTube entitled, Suffering in Silence, to speak about the cultural implications of sexual assault. 

In 2016, Breanne served as a mental health expert on the Rockin' and Enrollin' to Better Health radio show on KJMC 89.3.
