About Me
Hi, I’m Kémi (Kay-Me), a passionate and empathetic Licensed Master Social Worker in Iowa with a Master’s degree from the University of Iowa. I’ve supported diverse groups, including adolescents, parents, Veterans, vulnerable adults, and families, for years.
My person-centered, collaborative, culturally responsive, solution-focused, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach tailors each session to the client. I incorporate concepts from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing. As the founder of ALIGN7™ Spiritual Alignment Framework, I’m passionate about helping others understand their identity, strengthen wellness, and achieve holistic alignment, healing, and purpose. Reaching out for help can feel uncomfortable, but you do not have to take the first step alone. Together, we can examine limiting beliefs, regulate emotions, develop coping skills, and take practical steps toward change.
